Established in 1917, Milburn's membership is rich in tradition and continues to provide a memorable club experience.

Founded in 1917, Milburn Country Club is one of Kansas City's oldest golf clubs. Milburn boasts a championship course, a new state-of-the-art clubhouse and pool, and tennis facilities.

We are always looking for customer-oriented individuals to join our team in our food & beverage department, golf operations, course maintenance, pool operations and tennis operations.

A Player's Course...

Our 18 hole championship golf course is one of the finest in the Kansas City area. Milburn Country Club is a 6,785 yard, par 72 course designed by William B. Langford.  Ranked as a top ten golf course by Golf Digest over the last few years, the course has hosted a number of high profile golf events including: Kansas City Open, PGA, US Open Qualifying, US Amateur Sectionals, Kansas City Masters, Missouri and Kansas Amateur, and The Watson Challenge.

The Langford Pub is open Tuesday—Sunday for casual dining and includes a heated patio. The Sunset Room & Patio are an extension of the dining room and can be reserved for meetings or events. Wine lockers are also available for members to reserve.

Open Memorial Day - Labor Day...

We opened our brand new pool and poolside restaurant Memorial Day 2021! The new pool complex includes a swim/dive competition size pool, lounge pool and full service restaurant with indoor/outdoor seating.  

The pool is a fantastic place to relax with your family and friends, and offers a training facility for our Swim/Dive Team.

Members can enjoy the Swim & Dive Team Program. These programs are for children ages 11 & Older, 10 & Under and Pre-Competitive, which is ages 5 & Older.

Year-round play...

Milburn Country Club offers five tennis courts, all of which are lit for evening play. In the fall of 2015, we added a seasonal bubble that covers 3 of our courts allowing our members the opportunity to play year round. All five courts are lined for pickleball and tennis.

We offer fun and competitive opportunities for all ages and skill levels including:

The 2024 Membership Survey is now available! We have changed the design of the annual survey this year to gain an overall pulse of membership satisfaction at the Club. With only 8 questions, this should take no more than 2-3 minutes to complete.

Based on this feedback, we plan to send out more frequent, shorter surveys throughout the year to gain continuous feedback for improvement, rather than wait until the end of the year. We appreciate your time and input!

The new, updated Milburn App will be available to our membership March 8^th. We have been Beta testing the App for the last 60 days and are very excited about its capabilities and new functions. Once we get closer to the launch, we will be sending out instructions for you all so that you can download and enjoy its new features and benefits.

Located on our South Campus by the Pool, the 1917 Restaurant is open daily Memorial Day—Labor Day and offers a lighter fare menu and grab n' go items. This restaurant is also open in the off season on weeknights and weekends for a more casual dining experience. 

The 2024 golf season has come to an end and with that, it's time to return our demo clubs back to the manufacturers. If you have a demo club currently checked out, or still in your bag that you may have forgotten about – we are asking that you please return it to the golf shop as soon as possible.

Some of you may not know, but the manufacturers charge the golf shop full retail cost for clubs not returned so the success of the program and the availability to have demo clubs in the shop is fully based on the successful return of the inventory.

In checking our inventory, we are specifically missing clubs from both Titleist and Taylormade. Any clubs not returned before January 15^th will be charged to the members accounts.

THE BIG DAY AT MILBURN: KANSAS CITY'S FIRST POPULAR PRICE GOLF CLUB OPENS TODAY

This piece warns that only nine temporary holes will greet the ribbon-cutters, but twelve permanent holes will be playable soon.

The Club hosts a number of events for our members throughout the year including but not limited to Santa Brunch, Easter Egg Hunt, Mother's Day Brunch, Spring & Fall Carnival, Kentucky Derby Party, 4th of July Celebration, Wine Pairing Dinners, and Trivia Nights.

In addition, located on the South Campus, we have a state of the art indoor simulator room. The Indoor space affords members the opportunity to improve their game rain or shine. The Langford Cup, founded in 2007, honors Milburn's original course architect, William B. Langford.

After the reconstruction of the course's sand bunkers and tees in 2016, Milburn celebrates its Centennial Anniversary in 2017 and continues to reinvest in the Club.
